Futuristic Fingerprint Technology for Everyone

At the heart of Lockly Pro is its state-of-the-art 3D fingerprint sensor. It’s not just any fingerprint reader; this sensor uses biometric technology that’s precise and quick, recognizing your fingerprint in less than half a second. Here’s the cool part: it stores up to 99 fingerprints, so your whole family and friends can have access without compromising security. And don’t worry, setting up fingerprints is a breeze—I’ll walk you through it step by step.

The Ease of Installing Lockly Pro

One of the best things about Lockly Pro is that you don’t need to be a tech wizard to install it. If you can handle a screwdriver, you’re more than equipped to take on this task. The lock comes with a detailed installation guide, and I’ll give you some pro tips to make the process even smoother. Trust me, you’ll have it up and running in no time.

Before you start, make sure you have everything you need: the Lockly Pro unit, a screwdriver, and a little bit of patience. Clear off the area around your door so you have plenty of space to work, and let’s get started.

First things first, let’s prepare for installation. Make sure your door is compatible with Lockly Pro’s requirements. You’ll need a standard deadbolt setup, and the door should be between 1-3/8″ and 2″ thick. Got that? Great! Now, unpack your Lockly Pro and lay out all the pieces. Check that you have all the components listed in the installation guide.

Once you’ve got everything ready, remove your old deadbolt. Keep the screws—you might need them later. Now, take the Lockly Pro deadbolt and slide it into the hole where your old one was. See the following pictures and instructions how to set the length (2-3/8″ or 2-3/4″), position and orientation of the deadbolth slot.

To install the new Lockly Security Pro lock: first remove the old lock/deadbolt. Lockly Pro can be installed on most standard doors: thickness 1-3/8″ – 2” (35 – 50mm), basket 2-3/8″ – 2-3/4″ (60 – 70mm), crossbore 2-1/8″ (54mm), edge of the door hole: 1″ (25mm).

Slot on the new Lockly lock should align to the center of the crossbore door hole. By default new deadbolt is set to 2-3/4″ (70mm) lenght; if your door is 2-3/8″ (60mm) you need to adjust it: by holding the deadbolt for the metal plate, rotate clockwise the deadbolt body till it snaps to 2-3/8″ (60mm).

By using the flat head screwdriver, turn the deadbolt slut clockwise till the slot is in the vertical position and deadbolt is in extended position (and when deadbolt installed, slot should be in center of the basket). Continue following the provided instructions in the Instruction Guide, to install back-plate and outer and inner assembly.

Why Lockly Pro is a Game-Changer in Home Security

Security is more than just locking doors—it’s about peace of mind. And that’s exactly what Lockly Pro delivers. But what makes it stand out from the crowd? It’s the combination of convenience and advanced technology that puts control right at your fingertips—literally.

Advanced 3D Fingerprint Sensor Explained

The 3D fingerprint sensor on the Lockly Pro uses specialized biometric technology to create a detailed map of your fingerprint. This means it’s not just looking at the surface of your skin; it’s analyzing the unique ridges and valleys that make your fingerprint yours. This level of detail makes it incredibly secure and nearly impossible to fool. Most importantly, it’s a key feature that protects you and your home.

How Lockly Pro Keeps Your Data Safe

Now, you might be thinking, “All this biometric stuff sounds great, but what about my data?” Here’s the good news: Lockly Pro is designed with your privacy in mind. Your fingerprint data is stored locally on the device, not in some cloud where it could be vulnerable to hackers. And because it’s encrypted, even if someone got their hands on your lock, they couldn’t extract your biometric information.

Let’s talk about why this is important. In today’s world, data breaches are all too common. But with Lockly Pro, you can rest easy knowing that your personal information is locked down tighter than Fort Knox.

Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up Your Lockly Pro

Finishing the installation of the lock

Before peeling the cover film on adhesive tape on back of the exterior assembly, check the alignment to door hole and deadbolt.

Peel off the protective film on the adhesive tape and make sure that torque blade is in vertical position with deadbolt extended. Now slide to the end the torque blade (assembly) thru the deadbolt slot. Guide the cable from the exterior assembly thru the cross-bore hole but under the deadbolt, on the other side of the door.

Take the interior mounting plate, check alignment with the hole and the door. Peel the protective film from the adhesive strips, align, feed the cable thru the hole and secure on notched lower left side on the plate. and fix the plate with the adhesive strips to the door.

Use two screws to fix the mounting plate left and right from the torque blade, align and secure. With the mechanical key try few time locking and unlocking to see and make sure that the deadbolt travels smoothly. Leave the deadbolt in extended position and remove the mechanical key from the lock.

Now plug the cable coming thru mounting plate to the socket on the back of interior (connect securely red side of the plug to the red side of the socket). Tuck the cable under eyelet hooks and route it to the right side of the interior assembly.

Before fixing the inner assembly to the mounting plate, make sure the battery compartment is removed, torque blade and the thumb turn shaft are both in vertical position. Now align torque blade and thumb turn shaft and use two screws bellow battery compartment to secure the inner assembly to the mounting plate.

With the door open and deadbolt fully extended place the ribbon in the battery compartment, and place the batteries (4 AA type). Now, press and hold the Program button till locks starts self-check (process is important to ensure correct installation. NOTE: if the lock is not properly installed it will open and close the door repeatedly.

Once the self-check completes, you could use also manually check by turning the thumb knob to lock and unlock, if lock operates smoothly. When Ok, put back/slide the battery cover back and secure the battery compartment with screw on top.

Calibrating the Fingerprint Sensor

With the deadbolt in place, it’s time to calibrate the fingerprint sensor. This might sound high-tech, but it’s actually quite simple. Follow the instructions in the manual to enroll your first fingerprint. Place your finger on the sensor, lift it when prompted, and then place it again. Repeat this process until the lock confirms that your fingerprint has been registered.

Remember, the sensor needs a clear image of your fingerprint to work correctly. If you’re having trouble, make sure your finger is clean and dry, and try repositioning it until you find the sweet spot.

Once you’ve successfully added your fingerprint, you’ll want to add the fingerprints of other family members or individuals you trust. This way, they can also enjoy keyless entry to your home. Just follow the same process for each new fingerprint. And don’t worry, you can always remove fingerprints later if you need to.
